Rule 1 - MemesMemes must be directly related to the Hitman games, not the general concept of a hitman. The title/caption and content must be related to a Hitman game, although the image doesn't need to come directly from a Hitman game. However, the meme cannot be just a caption on top of an unedited image. The image must be edited so that it relates to the games. You also cannot just cross out a bit of text in the image and replace it with something else.
Rule 2 - Use Search Function/Read FAQ Before Making a PostBefore making a post asking a question, please use the search bar and use our various FAQs to see if it's already been answered before making a separate post. It helps to sort by 'New' as well for recent issues. Rule 3 - Spam and Duplicate PostsIf the same post/video is posted more than once within a short amount of time, it will be considered spam. This can be subjective, but the general rule of thumb is if the same thing has been posted within a six-month period. For example: 'Bald guy who looks like 47,' 'Agent 47 billboard next to a baby billboard,' 'guy who looks like 47 on a train,' 'Alma is floating,' etc. Well-known cases like the billboard post will be deleted regardless of the time between posts. Rule 4 - Flaming/Abusive BehaviorAbusive behavior or flaming concerns calling other users names (such as retard, idiot, or other derogatory terms) or using violence-laced speech ('kys', 'go die', wishing harm on them or their families, etc.).
This will not be tolerated and will start with a 7-day ban. A second offense will result in a permanent ban. We do not tolerate this behavior.
Rule 5 - Let's PlaysAny videos that are simply playthroughs/walkthroughs of any part of the game. This content is done by people such as Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, theRadBrad, etc.
This rule DOES NOT pertain to speedruns or Kill Everyone challenges. Rule 6 - Low-Effort ContentContent made without much interaction from the player.
For example: NPCs glitching onto props (Alma floating in bed), dead bodies lying in a funny position, etc. This can be very subjective, so if you feel that your post was wrongly removed, please contact the moderators. Rule 7 - SpoilersPlease tag any post regarding leaks of future content with 'Spoilers' or just make sure to put 'Leaks' or 'Spoilers' in the title. Rule 8 - MEGA-THREAD Rule.If there is an existing Mega-Thread, any related posts made outside of that thread will be removed.Hitman on Social Media.Spoiler tag for comments. This is a spoiler sentence.(/spoiler).
Ive never played the first game, but I think five or six of the levels in Contracts are original and the rest are remakes of missions from C47. Two of the 'new' missions, Meatking Party and Beldingford Manor are, in my opinion, two of the best levels in the entire series. The rest are still good - it's a very good game, though I've seen many people say the C47 missions are superior in the original game than Contracts.Without giving away anything, 47 is 'reliving' his memories, so most of the game takes place entirely inside his head. Continuity wise, the entire game takes place at the end of Curtains Down, from Blood Money. But it's mostly flashbacks, which explains why there are remade levels.
That hotel level is amazing. I'm a huge fan of levels like that as well, the visuals are stunning. They also have a Romania mission which makes me laugh all the time because I speak the language.I think Contracts is only a couple dollars now, well worth buying.Edit: I know silent assassin is the golden child around here but if you play Contracts you'll think otherwise. The graphics are better, the gameplay is more attuned to stealth, and there are tons of sexy levels.
So many strippers, hookers, and sex parties. It just has this dark and brooding ambiance that I love. Contracts actually takes place somewhere between Hitman: Silent Assassin (2) and Hitman: Blood Money (4), but the levels you play are a series of flashbacks. All levels take place before Hitman 2 with the exception of the Meat King level and the Beldingford Manor level, which happen sometime after Hitman 2.Regardless of whether or not you play Codename 47, you should probably still play everything in order. Personally I think you can get away with skipping Codename 47. It's a fun game but has aged horribly and the control scheme is a little clunky.
